Mr. Eichberg is an Attorney practicing law in the greater Los
Angeles area since 1978. He was a senior partner in the Law
Firm(s) of Lever, Anker & Israel, Eichberg & Feldman and
Goldfarb, Sturman, Averbach & Eichberg and now practices
privately in Westlake Village, California. He has practiced
business law with an emphasis on representation of large and
small corporations Limited Liability Companies, General
Partnerships, Limited Partnerships and sole proprietorships. Mr.
Eichberg’s practice has involved complex litigation matters,
landlord-tenant, and employee-employer disputes, unfair
competition, altering county ordinances and personal injury.
Mr. Eichberg has extensive knowledge of, and has worked on,
almost every type of transactional matter, from simple contracts
to complex real estate transactions and intellectual property
matters. He has developed his own commercial leases as well as
negotiated over one thousand (1000) leases for large and small
businesses. His practice has included structuring Non Profit
Corporations and Foundations. He also handled litigation
matters in Nevada and Washington D.C.
Mr. Eichberg co-authored a book to train students
entering into the Paralegal Profession. He has represented and
served on the boards of international corporations, RGB Systems,
Inc., d/b/a Extron, Fastframe USA, Inc, d/b/a Fastframe, and
California Closet Company. He has represented businesses in the
audio-video market, electronics market, computer market and
numerous retail and wholesale businesses.
Mr. Eichberg is a founding member and has served on
the Board of Directors of Lily of the Valley AIDS Foundation,
Inc. d/b/a Lily of the Valley Endeavor (LoVE) since its
inception. He also serves on the Board of Directors of
Cornerstone Network Ministry, and has served on the Executive
Council of Conejo Valley Community Church.
As a young man Mr. Eichberg was the youngest member
that the Board of Directors of the Anti Defamation League ever
had and lectured against discrimination throughout the United
States. He was also President of the District Four Association
of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization covering the Western
United States, Canada and Mexico, and a member of its
International Board of Directors.
Mr. Eichberg received his BA Degree from California
State University at Los Angeles in 1971, his Juris Doctorate
Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1974 and
his Mediation Certificate from The Strauss Institute of
Pepperdine University. He also served as a Judge Pro Tem in the
Los Angeles Small Claims Court in 1978 when it was located in
Encino, California. Mr. Eichberg is licensed to practice in the
State of California, its federal courts and in Washington D.C.
Mr. Eichberg brings a lifetime of knowledge of the
law and practice in varied disciplines. His participation in
hundreds of mediations and litigation has brought him to the
conclusion that mediation is a useful means by which clients,
people without lawyers and lawyers themselves, can bring closure
to matters in a fair and reasonable manner saving time, money,
stress, anger, discontent and unhappiness that necessarily
accompanies litigation.
